Van Gogh Drip Paintings 2004-2008

The drip paintings were made by dipping the handle of an artist’s paint brush into latex house paint and letting the paint fall off the end of the handle in horizontal and vertical threadlike lines, mimicking the warp and weft of weaving. These works are part of the body of work titled Weaving van Gogh (see EXHIBITIONS section) which developed from the notion that Vincent van Gogh was influenced by weaving.
